Do people in China eat the same things as people in Europe? Do people in the Middle East eat the same as people in Russia or in North America? Of course not, you might reply.

But did you know that whilst veal is a big article in Brazil, where they raise some of the finest beef cattle in the world, the people of Brazil don't think much of tenderloins, whereas this particular beef product make European mouths water.
In Mexico they eat the brains and the uteri of swine. Some places in China they fry the stomach, the snout and toes of the same animal. In America the ribs are barbecued. In Denmark the crackling is regarded as a snack. But in Muslim countries they refuse pork altogether.
