NOWACO is proud to be present at several of the world's leading food exhibitions throughout the year. Here we meet our customers and establish new business relations with some of the world’s suppliers of food and foodstuffs.
To be present at an exhibition is an excellent chance to network and to meet customers and colleagues from the many NOWACO offices face to face. Often we arrange to meet our partners and customers beforehand, so some of our staff are booked and attend meetings during the exhibition, but we have both sellers and buyers present, that would enjoy meeting you to see how we can be of assistance to each other.
We register our meetings so that we never forget who we have been talking to, and what we have been talking about. This way we can help out by taking care of things as soon as possible.
Our booths vary in size, depending on which exhibition we attend, but we always have room to welcome you inside. We would love to know how we can be of assistance to your company.

At a fish exhibition, one of NOWACO’s fish specialists bumped into a Chinaman from America. The last time they had met, they were together with an elderly Chinese who had been in the fish trading business for ages.
Our salesman had over the past ten years learned to respect this sweet old man, who had a passion for his work that made him attend fish exhibitions all over the world, even though his body was bent double with age. Back in China he had been selling fish from Chinese trawlers to EU and USA, and he continued this line of work after moving to Seattle in the 1980’s. The old man had recently passed away at the age of 86.
The first Chinaman on the other hand was picking up the business, which the old man had left, and our trader suddenly learned that the two of them had a lot to catch up on.
Personal relations are of vital value when you want to do business with others. Cultural differences often mean that you don’t really get the whole picture through written correspondence. You have to meet people. You must have a strong network. This among other things is what gives NOWACO an edge in the food trading business.
