Network is a good thing when you want to know what’s going on in our line of work. One of NOWACO’S customers, a major German pig breeder, gave us a hint regarding a big industrial producer of chicken breasts in Switzerland. We contacted the company, suggesting that we would sell the rest of the chicken for them, if they would cut and pack the chicken parts in certain ways.

Selling chicken parts is no novelty to us, as they make out the main volume of our poultry trade, such as chicken breast, chicken wings, legs, feet, etc. Turkey, goose, and duck are also part of our product assortment along with processed poultry products, for instance chicken franks, backs, and machine deboned meat (MDM).

Chicken chops  for China

At the SIAL exhibition in France, the manager of an abattoir approached our booth. His company was approved to sell chicken products to China, but he had no idea how to tackle the whole business of applications, declarations, labelling, shipping documents, translations and other things, that are necessary just to get his products into China. Not to mention that he had no idea how to find the right customers and how to go about selling his goods, getting the right price and getting paid.

We were happy to relieve him of his worries by assuring him, that NOWACO could take care of all these matters due to our local expertise and network.
