A cut above the rest

From the very beginning pork has been NOWACO’S biggest field of trade. Starting with feet, stomachs and ears for the Chinese market, we now sell every single part of the pig with cuts and processed products of all kinds to buyers everywhere.

Over the years we have earned the trust of many renowned companies within the pork trading business, and we have worked up a huge knowledge of this field.

Ready to turn things upside down

We obtain pork products mainly from producers in Europe and South America. Once also from China, but since a major outbreak of disease amongst Chinese livestock pig in 2007, we have done all we can to help our Chinese friends, who now are in dire need of getting enough pork into the country.

Thanks to our many associates, some of which are approved by the Chinese government to sell directly into China, we have been able to keep up with the increasing demand. A big asset is our offices in both China and Hong Kong. They are our means of smooth access to the Chinese market.

What buyers want

We ship various cuts of pork – mainly frozen – to buyers on several continents. The assortment ranges from pork sides to offal in the precise quality that meet our customers’ demands – even if it this means developing a completely new product!

Actually we sell a lot of processed pork, such as sausages and bacon, to Singapore and Malaysia, while prime cuts go to Russia, the Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Africa. To Mexico we sell pig brains and uteri, while China receives feet, stomachs, heads and snouts.

But how do we manage to sell pork to Muslim countries? The fact is that many of the countries of the Middle East have many foreign workers. In Dubai, for example, we are personally in contact with Indian distributors through our office in India.

People everywhere have a basic need to eat. In a way we just contribute to fulfilling their need, whatever their desire may be.
