Oh, to be a steer on the plains of South America! To roam the pampas, with no other obligation than to enjoy life and eat what nature provides. Being amongst hundreds of thousands of friends in a pleasant climate with a temperature that stays the same all year through – what a life!

Vast herds of cattle roam freely – and ecologically – over extensive territories in the countries of the Mercosur: Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay. From there our offices in Brazil and Argentina buy meat of a very high quality, while other NOWACO offices trade beef from Australia, New Zealand, America, and Europe.

Reliable in quality and consignment

The food industries of Europe, the Middle East and the Far East are happy about the beef from the Mercosur, because of its homogeneous structure and sparse marbling. The sheer mass of production also makes the means of delivery very reliable.

The farmers are on the other hand happy to cooperate with NOWACO in selling the meat. One of our partners in Argentina is with our aid able to sell all parts of a beast and getting good money for them too by sending offals products to China and Africa and the expensive quality cuts to Europe.

Flexible trading

One of NOWACO’s forces is our talent for finding new buyers and sellers when necessary due to our extensive network and knowledge about the needs in the different markets of the world. This way we can redirect goods swiftly if a market collapses, which was what happened when the European Union in the 1990’s prohibited the import of beef from Brazil. NOWACO then helped a large cattle farmer to sell his goods to the Middle East.

Natural meat

The beef we sell isn’t genetically modified. It originates from farms that are environmentally sustainable and where they don’t use growth hormones.

Our product assortment ranges from carcasses, forequarters- and hindquarters, rib-eye and flank.

Among the chilled and frozen prime cuts you will find tenderloins, strip loins, heart of rump, and cube rolls. Among the frozen cuts for industrial processing there are top sides, eye rounds, outside flats, and knuckles.
